ELEMENTS OF NATURE

As I work on my paintings, I immerse myself in the mood of the idea. What is it I feel, what do I want to transmit? I take clues from the present moment, from the natural world, the phase of the moon and what is happening in my life. The symbols and themes that appear in my paintings are metaphors for the meaningful events and encounters in my life. My work transcends the personal through the universality of these themes and symbols.
