I have formed a deep connection to the natural world of the high desert of New Mexico where I live. I watch the red-winged blackbirds flit amongst the cat-tails beside the old Santa Fe reservoir. Ravens caw their greetings and the mysterious night blooming datura is pure magic in the moonlight.
