de St. Croix Lenormand offers a new look at the 36 symbols used in Lenormand decks. The 200 years old system of divination began in Germany as the Game of Chance and Hope. The deck gained popularity throughout Europe and was later named after Madame Lenormand – a famous French psychic who read for Josephine Bonaparte.
The 36 original watercolors in de St. Croix Lenormand were painted in layers of washes that gives a vibrant luminosity. Lisa learnt this technique of Indian Master Harish Johari while studying sacred painting in Haridwar, India. The images are universal and easy to understand. The cards are 2.25″ x 3.5″ printed on glossy card stock. They come with an instructional sheet housed in a crystal box.
The original watercolors will be exhibited during the 100th year anniversary of the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico at Axle Contemporary 25th, 26th November 2017. Lisa will be offering readings from 12 – 4pm both days.
