“Tarot de. St. Croix is one of those rich, beautiful decks worth acquiring for your collection. The emotions that each work of art portrays, the layers of tarot symbolism, both the resonant connection to the divine and the connection to the mundane that merge seamlessly throughout the deck art narrative are just a few of the reasons the Tarot de St. Croix has remained so sought after and beloved over the last decade.” Benebell Wen

My journey with Tarot began at age eleven when my mother visited a Tarot reader in Johannesburg, South Africa. As her life unfolded in ways the cards had foretold, my sense of destiny and faith in the unseen awakened. Years later, after my mother’s passing, her Marseille Tarot deck returned to me through mysterious circumstances. When the cards came back into my life, I began practicing the art of divination, listening to the subtle language of symbol and spirit. During a shamanic journey I received a clear instruction: paint the Tarot. What followed was a five-year creative pilgrimage that resulted in Tarot de St. Croix. Synchronicity became my compass and companion, guiding each image as it emerged. The remarkable stories of these synchronistic events and mysterious alignments are shared in the booklet that accompanies the deck.

I loved adding the Tarot de St. Croix to my collection of decks. It is such a unique representation of the archetypes – ranging from diverse ancient mythologies to contemporary scenarios. And the artwork is superb.

Lisa lives and breathes the sacred. As a true initiated daughter of Isis, her work is inspired, beautiful and wise. Her tarot is both transpersonal and personal. In describing the images, she invites us into her mystical and artistic process and the experience of synchronicity as it has flowed through her life and can and does flow into ours. We accompany the artist through the creation of her deck illustrating how personally to apply these archetypes to our own lives, grounding them and making them relevant to our experiences. A beautiful deck greatly inspired by the nature in which she dwells in New Mexico.
